I thought that this months Third and Main box was so fun, the theme this month was a Vintage Picnic!! For any one new here Third and Main is a monthly home decor subscription box and each month is a new theme!
Heres what they have to say about this months box:
“Vintage Picnic” Grab a few friends and head outdoors to dine and reconnect. We’ve included a versatile carry caddy, set of 4 exclusive and hand made lemon napkins. 4 appetizer plates featuring a trendy black and white farm animal print and fresh ground lavender to use in a scrumptious lemon-inspired recipe. When life hands you lemons you invite your friends over!
So the first thing that I found in the box was these adorable lemon flour sack napkins designed by Doe A Deer! There are 4 napkins in this set, they are the perfect size and super soft! They are a retail value of $39
These napkins are an exclusive design for this months box so if you love these I would pause and head right over to Third and Main and see if they have any boxes left!! Doe A Deer does create custom tea towels and more so you might be able to find something just as fun over on their site!! Check them out at Doe A Deer
This is one of my favorite pieces! I am such a sucker for any type of tray, they are all over our house. Theres so much that you can do with this white enamel carry caddy. Its perfect to store things like plates, napkins, salt and pepper. How easy this will make to transport items outside for your outdoor bbq.
I love the black and white in these cute little farm animal appetizer plates. I love that they are basic pieces and can go with any color combo you might have in your home. One of my favorite things about subscription boxes is that they include items that you might not normally pick up for yourself. These are not something that I would get for myself if I was out shopping but I really love them they are the perfect size and so different.
Each month they feature a local designer or store and this month we received two items from local places! These dried lavender buds came from a local spice store in Geneva, IL. You can check them out at 360 Flavor & Spice I love that they have included something like this. This item is probably my favorite because with it they have included a fun recipe for Lavender Lemon Shortbread Cookies! I have never made any type of recipe with Lavender before so Im curios how they are going to taste, will it be over powering or will you hardly know theres any lavender in them? I love shortbread cookies though so it will be interasting to see what these taste like! Stay tuned for a recipe and review coming soon on these cookies!!
Since this months box was a “Vintage Picnic” them I went ahead and quickly styled out some place settings to see what the new items would look like with some of my other things. What one is your favorite or how would you style it
If you’d like to check out other items or sign up and receive your first box visit Third & Main for the home
